The right to education is a human right, and it is also covered in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and in the Sustainable Development Goals. Despite this, many children in low‐and‐middle‐income countries face problems accessing education, and children with disabilities are particularly vulnerable to exclusion. Building on relevant policy and research, the objective of this study was to carry out an in‐depth exploration of barriers and facilitators for access to education and scholastic achievement for children and young people with disabilities in a rural Malawian context. This report presents a summary of key results from the project. Oppdragsgiver FFOnb_NO
