This report is based on presentations and discussions in a workshop with participants from Chalmers University of Technology, Forsvarsbygg, Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and SINTEF. The report gives a summary of a literature search that was conducted as part of the project. The report also gives an overview of low frequency noise (LFN) impact on humans, and lists relevant national and international standards and regulations. Problems and challenges with respect to measurements of LFN in buildings and sound and vibration insulation at low frequencies, have been discussed. A list of items for further studies have been proposed. Oppdragsgiver Forsvarsbyggnb_NO
