dc.description.abstractViper (Vindpark Energiproduksjon) is a collection of Matlab scripts for computing the annual energy production of large offshore wind farms. The analysis method is based on the numerical finite-difference solution of the two-dimensional boundary-layer equations. The method has been validated against empirical formulas for flat plates, and full-scale measurements at the Horns Rev and Nysted wind farms.en_US
